Why do some scouts manage to find out asking prices and others don't?
Some of my scouts manage to find out a minimum asking price and a maximum asking price for scouted players - but my others who are rated similarly and have the same reputation, don't for some reason. Any ideas as to why?

It depends on how many matches they watch the player for. If they've only scouted him for one game they'll only have a little bit of info, if they scout him for more games they'll find out more about him, including a possible asking price.

Cheers, that probably explains it. I have sent a scout to UK & Ireland once and he has come back with ratings only, but no asking prices. I sent one to France and he did the same. I restarted his France scouting, and it's then that he has come back with some asking prices. So that almost confirms your theory in the fact that he's probably watched certain players on more than one occasion.
Cheers mate.
