Get a mouse with some extra buttons, and assign one of them to 'minimise window'. Keep your work as the window behind the game, and when your boss walks past, minimise FM with one mouse click, and pretend you are working on whatever was behind it. Works well for me!

the key is to play in window mode, not full screen. sometimes the game takes up a lot of resources and it might not react right away, when you alt-tab... I just got Outlook maximised and the game in window up front, a quick click on outlook will work immediately. I noticed that even on a good notebook here at work having several communication tools running severly slows down the whole swapping process

to run FM08 in full screen, then minimize when need is not fast enough to hide. turn off monitor isn't the best way. Play in small screen, windows mode is the best, fast, safe, no one can see, easy to close when need.

Am i the only person who thinks you should be getting on with your work??
Seriously though running it in window mode in the best way, although when minimised it will still be visable on the bar at the bottom

See we all know this is the reason why the 08 skin looks the way it does - at a glance from a few yards away it just looks like some office app, and not a game.

You may not even need to minimize the window unless someone comes really close! You never could have got away with it with any of the previous versions...
