hey everyone jus like to know something ..

heres a case - player A,player B .. both player's contract expires at the same day..but y can i only approach to sign player A,and player B is not available for APPROACH TO SIGN ..

anyone knows y?

It depends on when their contract actually runs out. If it's already expired they may have either already decided to retire or already agreed to sign for someone else.

If you mean that both players contracts are due to expire on the same day but that day is for example 6 months down the line then it depends on what league you're in and where the players are based. For example in the English league you can approach to sign any player who is not based in the same league as you when they have only 6 months left on their contract.

However if the player is in the same league as you you need to wait until they only have a month left on their contract before you can sign them for free.

I remember in FM 07, you could never sign players from Eastern Europe. Even after their contract is expired, there's no option to 'approach to sign'?


Anyone know the reason? Still happen in 08?
