...and regarding removing the work permits, surely it's part and parcel of the game. Sure it's frustrating, but there's heaps of other players to chose from.

Plus, I read somewhere that you can still sign them if you have a feeder club you can send them to, to make them eligible.

How exactly do you make a country outside the EU a member of the EU using the game editor?

I don't think there is WP in Spain. At least not for south americans. And they(south americans) become spanish in two years.

A limit of 3 foreign (non-eu) players in a squad of 25, though I only have 1 at Valencia (Zigic) who hass about 2000 more days to wait to get his Spanish citezenship, I'll probably offload him before then though.

I think players from latin countries only have to wait 2 years to gain citezenship.

If you have a feeder club thats main purpose is to avoid work permit problems you can sign them and loan them out to the feeder club till they get a work permit.

Used to be a drop down box that you could select, or something like that.

Or was it a simple tickbox?

Either way, I used to make Brazil, Argentina and the Cape Verde Islands all EU countries.

What you could do is go to the editor-
Make 'gaining Belgian nationality within 2 (minimum) years'
Then get a Belgian feeder club, because most clubs take upto 3 years or more to get passport.

In portugal you can sign as many Brazilians as you want due to the historical links of the countries. As for work permits for other non eu nationals im not sure how it works in portugal.
