I do have a question though.

What stats do you think are essential for an assistant manager. I usually go for Judging player potential and ability so I can team reports.

What do you guys looks for in an Assistant? Coaching ability? Motivation for team talks etc...

I find I usually end up going for Palma's first team 7 coach as my assistant.

High attributes in judging player ability & potential is a must for me.

As others have said high judging player potential and ability are two things I look for.

I also look for high attributes in motivation as I like to let him do my team talks from time to time and high man management just because it sounds like something an assistant manager should have.

He should also have an attribute or two that give him 7 stars in one coaching area as he'll be making up part of my coaching staff as well.

Motivating, Tactival Knowledge, Level of Discipline and Determination are my priorities. I also look to get Judging Player Potential and Ability as high as possible, and will also strive to get an assistant with good a Working With Youngsters attribute.

I'm not too bothered about his coaching abilities when managing a big club because I will tend to put him on all training schedules in order to reduce training workloads for my more specialised coaching staff.
