I have just started a new game with Hearts and noticed that the quality in their youth team is emotional never realised how good it was. Has anyone been hearts and noticed this and if anyone has picked up a player from hearts further on in the game please let me know how good they are. Oviously the youth team isnt as good as the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Rangers, Celtic etc. but after employing some good coaches the increase in the attribute of the players is tremendous.
Also i signed that kid all the top european clubs are scouting "James McCarthy" and his attributes are improving a great deal aswell.
Hearts do have a good youth system in real life, players like Eggert Jonsson, Andrew Driver, Christophe Berra (captain ofc) etc. play regularly for the first 11 having come through the youth system. If the Hearts researcher sees this thread he'd be able to go into more detail on the matter than I could.

They are the "wee team" now of course....ah,how the tables turn!
Just a side note about another Scottish team who are pretty decent in FM08 - Dundee FC (yep i support em) - there are a few more than decent players in their team i can tell ye.
