I'm fed up with the poor logic associated with transfers that's still in the game, double so because I thought the entire transfer system was jiggled with and beautified in the last release?
The problem is when managing in a situation where you transfer a player in from another team with higher rep.
Say you pay £250k for a good young prem player and bring them to a top team in a smaller league (in my case Ireland). Over a year or so the players value sticks at £250k, during this time they get plenty of first team action, improve and then experience in Europe.
English premiership teams start to sniff around and then the offers flood in.
£40k. For a twenty something international who's playing in the champs league and who cost five times that ammount a year ago.
You can spend forever negotiating even to cover the original ammount but Sunderland, Newcastle and co all come back with an offer of £90k over two years.
Where is the logic? It's bloody awful paying a million for a young Brazillian then having to fend off prem clubs offering under a hundred grand every other week for three years. Double so that it's the same teams and they NEVER raise the ammount without going to two years.
