Before I start, I should say that I'm quite new here, so if I've posted this in the wrong place, or if you're not allowed to pimp your own work, apologies.

I've just finished working on an English Stadium Backgrounds pack for FM 2007. This includes stadium images for every manageable English team in the game, and tons below that level as well. There are a total of 230 stadiums included.

They show up when you click on a team's name, view their squad etc., but the most exciting thing is that they now show up on a matchday. For example, if you play away at Anfield, then on matchday, after you've given your pre-match team talk, you will see the stadium in the background while you play the match.

Good work mate. Not sure which size i should pick though, does ti matter apart from quality difference?

It makes a big difference actually; if you play the game in full-screen mode, get the full-screen pack and if you play in windowed-mode, get the windowed-mode pack, or the images will be resized by the game and the quality will become awful.

I thought the ingame fm full screen res was 1024x768?

My lcd monitor is 1280x12024.

Good pics though mate, nice quality. However its hard to see my players attributes using bristol rovers as their picture is quite light, so the attributes become a strain to see. Maybe using a different skin from si's default one would help

It is, hence why the pictures in the full-screen pack are 1024x768 But if you un-check the "full-screen mode" option in preferences, you then play in windowed mode, and can resize to whatever you like.

In that case, if you do what I've explained above (if you untick the "full-screen mode" box), then you're best to download the windowed pack and maximise the window.

Unfortunately that is the case with a few of them; I've got the best pictures I could find and in some cases that does mean they're quite light. Altering the XML files that control attribute colours would fix that, or waiting for a new skin that does that for you.

That's strange! If you can't download from FileFront then you'll have to try downloading from SortItOutSI.net, the links are here:

hey folks what do i have to do to be able to make sure they show up in the background?

Do i have to do anything in the preferences?

Also do they work in the demo?

i am going to work on a scottish one.

shame the brentford one isnt more of the ground but hey at least were about to score a goal in it!
