Hello...

What do you think are the essential downloads for FM2007 ?

I've downloaded the english creased kits, english logos and face packs, some of the european logos... etc. from sortitoutsi.

Is there one "mega" pack out there which you consider to be essential?

For me, the ideal pack would update everything in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and many of the big european teams (for the UEFA cup and Champions League)

Maybe you know of such a pack and I haven't came across it??? If you could give it a mention, that'd be great.

just out of interest,which face pack for EPL did you download from sortitoutsi,i wanna make sure i get the right one

The finest facepacks I've found are Gillsman's, located in this thread. It's got the small thumbnail pictures and everything.

I downloaded the Gillsman's face packs, they look good and have had no problems with them.

Vads, I did wonder about your pack actually, I'm a little confused to as what's there however, for example when you've said.....

- 3D-WP: Clubs, Default, Nations (2111)
- 3D Creased: Clubs, Default, Nations (3113)

do you mean, both of these are in your pack, and you can choose which one you ant to extract?

Problem I've found with some european logo packs, well, I say problem, is that you don't get the small logos, hopefully your pack will sort that out for me!

You have obviously not been looking around mate. GM has done most of england, I've done Bundesliga 1 and CL and worked with some other guys to do the lower German divisions. Peter has done CL also, TMM has done La Liga and Seria A, and Dav has done Italy down to C2 level. France has also been done in 140x180 and i've also done a few French clubs. These were all on SoritoutSI btw.

And the torrent, although a nice idea, has nothing new face wise - it's just taken all the older packs and lumped them together. Having said that, as i have over 75,000 different faces it's not of much interest to me, but it's ok if you have none i guess.

I think Vads was had the right idea, combining everything together (with the various authors consent presumeably).

But still, from what you've said and also from what I've seen on sortitoutsi, there are better, more up to date stuff on sortitoutsi. I guess I was after something which was up to date, and contained the essentials in one pack.

If I have to sweat it out and download pack after pack, I just hope SI realise that this isn't acceptable if they really do want to tout FM as the most realistic football management game.

I love the game, but it's a running joke every year with the number of updates (and now skinning) needed I'll persevere, but come on SI!
