how do i get my own backgrounds? i've tried putting in my own images into the background section but i can still only see the grass background, and when i try getting rid of the grass background, on the game the background is just black! help would be much appreciated.

If you replace the default.jpg background with another one, make sure that you name it default.jpg. When you restart your game, you should see it.

I don't know how you make it so that you can see more backgrounds.

does it matter if the picture you want to become the default has different dimensions from the original deafult?

It will have to be the same, so you'll have to resize it to 1280*960.
