No you dont have to restart a new game, if you've got the game running, just save and reload. If not load as normal.

Put the logos in

My Computer > (C > Program Files > Sports Interactive > Football Manger 2007 > Data > Graphics > Pictures > Logos

Face packs

My Computer > (C > Program Files > Sports Interactive > Football Manger 2007 > Data > Graphics > Pictures > Players
