I've updated a few transfers on the 2007 version, haven't used it before but very easy to use, the problem arises when I come to save it, I get four blank boxes and I haven't the foggiest what to enter in them, can someone please help me out or point me in the right direction to a post that has this info, I'm sorry if this has been mentioned a thousand times before but I have looked around and I can't seem to find the info I need and the forum or I am probably looking in the wrong places!!!! many thanks in advance for helping this novice

These four boxes you are talking about are 'database name', 'author', 'discription' and 'version.' When you make changes to the database in FM2007, it makes you save a new copy of the database. Just type the relevant details in the boxes, I think only database name is actually required. Then, when you launch the game you need to choose the databse you have created from the drop down list, rather than the default database. Hope that makes sense.

After installing the patch 7.0.1 there is to directories in the db-folder, 700 and 701.

Will it be a good idea to delete the 700 ???

Does this mean every time you make a change in the editor you create a new database? I feel stupid....

Not at all you can make changes and over write what you saved earlier if you want to, but you will need to start a new game to see the changes you made.

just use the "save" option rather than "save as..", that'll overwrite your previous db.
