Open the programme, go to File, then Load Last Game, wait till your save game loads then click on Search and look for players, staff or teams. The rest is trial and error.

I have the same problem I think.

I know nothing about setting stuff up - I have downloaded it but when I double click the icon it asks me what program I want to use to open it.

An idiots guide please - or is that it and I just now need to start FM again?

Once downloaded, you need to unzip it with WinRar ( a free download ). You will then get a list of folders, after closing the WinZip dialogue box. Drag the .exe file to your desktop to create a shortcut then click on it and the program will open

Simple advice well delivered, marvellous.

Thanks for that, now I just need to find where to get WinRar from ;-) (I'm sure I can work that out, I am computer illiterate, not stupid)

cheers for the above information, but when i have followed the instructions and try and load up the saved game i get the following message

"Unknown database version:1072"
