help needed please id like to unzip and extract a file but havnt got a clue how to do it please can anyone help me out is a basis lingo as you can thanks very much

You need to download a programme called 'WinRar' which you should be able to get from a site such as www.download.com.
Download that programme, then it is pretty straightforward from there. If you come up against any problems, give me a shout!

down loaded it says evaluation copy and has loads of files totally clueless sorry

WinRar should still do the trick, try downloading it, and extracting to the file that the author of the update recommends on his forum post.

The 'loads of files' are the files inside the zip file that need to be unzipped (aka extracted).

Open the zip file with WinRAR, then click on the "Extract To" button, and it will extract/unzip the files to a location you specify.

As Mucko says, if it is requested you unzip to a particular location, make sure you do it to that location.
