Edited DB Crash Question (August 1, 2006 crash - teams swapped)
Just curious what about swapping teams would cause a crash that without the team swapping doesn't happen.
What I have done (to provide some entertainment to my game, and to see how the game handles it) is do some major swapping of teams. Basically I flipped the nations of England, Spain and Italy.
In England, the Premiership teams were put into the Conference, the Championship teams were put into the remaining Conference spots, and the rest in League 2, and League 1 and the remaining League 2 sides were left as normal.
In Spain, it was just top level to 2nd level, and the only team in the top level (that I know of) that had a team in level 2 was Madrid, and their B team was put into level 3, so they are below Real Madrid A team.
In Italy, it was half Serie A put into C/1A and the other half put into C/1B.
I had tried this once before (on the 7.0.1 database) but had an error at approximately the same date (I'm not 100% certain, but it was shortly after the game started). On that database, I had swapped many more leagues, though (Germany and France for sure, and perhaps a couple others). I figured my error was in the German league, as there were more teams with B teams in the mix (I put the Bundesliga teams in the regionals, and did my best to put all B teams from those teams below them).
So with the 7.0.2 database, I figured I'd try it on a smaller scale, to see if it would work, using just England, Spain and Italy. And it didn't.
So, what could be the cause of this, and what might I have to also change to prevent the error again? For the record, on this latest DB edit, I started with only England League 1 and higher active, Italy only Serie A, and Spain only La Liga, so the former top level teams were all in inactive leagues, if that matters.
What I'm mostly after is to see how the UEFA club/nation coefficients play out over many seasons (my last game before 7.0.2, I am on year 2029 - I tend to play long-term games with loads of leagues active). I'm also interested in how many teams from the "bottom", that are up directly to the top end up being able to stay at the top, and how quickly (and how many of them) the "big teams" make it back up without too much damage, financially.
Does it involve, perhaps, stadium requirements for some leagues? UEFA Champs League/UEFA Cup qualifiers? Just curious why August 1 is a doomsday date and what I can do to avoid it.

Is it when you try to load a game the nations you want to play don't come up? If yes, double check that you have the right amount of teams in each league e.g premiership has to have 20teams in it.

No, it loads up just fine, and I can choose a team and advance just fine...until August 1st when I crash.
Since it's happened twice, with two different base databases with the same edits (team swaps, though not completely identical swaps, but the exact same type and scope), I am curious as to why August 1st would cause this.
