It doesnt suck man, its pretty good. Maybe you could duplicate the render layer thats not smudged a few times, put the smudged one on bottom, and then play around with the other ones to make the smudgin become part of the BG. I know that was hard to understand, but if you did understand it, maybe you could try it.
