I tried the same thing...changed totenham's finance to 350000000...budget to 200000000. But this doesn't work as in the game, even if I chose my database it's still the original figures!

I was having the same problem but then just added in lower amounts for the club balance. When i put liverpool wit top resources, big stadium, max rep and the finances of 250,000,000 and transfer of 200,000,000 it worked in the game. There must be a max limit for every club in the game. if this still doesn't work i noticed there was an estimated amount for every club in your league. I didn't change it but if you want a bigger balance again you could try changing that

I tried to give aston vill a bigger transfer budget and when i changed it in editor there was no change at all. i think that 5 mil for a bow very rich club is very poor.

I changed Barcelona's budget from 6 million in balance and 3 million transfer budget (which is a joke) to 200 million (still a joke compared to the amount they really have). 200 Million is the maximum you can get I think.

I have managed to change Man Utd & Chelsea's transfer budget and club balance...

Both Reps are set at "10,000"
Club Balance set at "750,000,000"
Transfer Budget set at "75,000,000"
Wage Budget set at "7,500,000"

If you use the FM Modifier (Save Game Editor)... you can set the limits club balance to "950,000,000" and so forth

Im having the exact same problem which is the reason i signed up to this site to find out and now i see no-one knows, it keeps happening to me with liverpool, i dont want them to have top rep an stadium because i want to work on that myself in the game something to work for, i jus want them to have a good budget and balance and debt so i can enjoy the tranfsering otherwise cant get anyone. I liked the old way it was so simple lettin you know the limits

I am playing Celtic with a 10000 rep the spl is set at 20 i have changed everything that can be changed, hell i have even changed the glasgow weather and still i can only get £250,000,000 balance and £190,000,000 transfer funds so im not buying this variables nonsense.

The new editor is a product of fixing something that wasn't broken
How am i meant to buy Gerrard, Adriano, etc .. with the pittance above ?

I am with Barca now and have a 2bil transfer money but my club is in financial crises :S
I am in december now and Valdes his contract was ended by the board.... How do I fix this..... big transfer money and big balance..

Hey the variables do work. Liverpool's Rep in the game is 8750 or something like that. The maximum money a club can have is 250 mil, and thats for a club with 10000 rep so a club with 8750 rep can have a max of 211 mil or there abouts. In the editor i set liverpools money to 211 mil and transfer budget to 130 mil and it works fine.

also how come i save my database then when i go to close the editor it asks me to save my database again?
