Yes this is crap, I spent over 6 hours trying to get a balance of at least 900 000 000 with Nottingham Forrest, to try and make them great again. these limits are nonsense!

Realistically clubs can be taken over and have billions of pounds! that is the reality of football today! look at Chelsea and West Ham etc
PLEASE fix this!

Yeah, been having the same problems. The budgets given for Man United in the default database are pathetically unrealistic, and the same goes for a lot of other clubs. We're moaning cos we can't even correct these glaring errors, which make it impossible to buy decent players.

Have managed to get the editor to give me plenty cash!!!

First I did as suggested as above - set reputation to 10000. Then I set the balance to 200,000,000,000 and set the transfer budget 150,000,000. This gave in-game values of 194,744,407 (balance) and Transfer budget as 150,000,000!

Nothing else was altered.

I will admit that I did this with Hearts, so I don't know if it will work with all clubs...

biscuit head, 150M is peanuts compared to the 2B people are asking for.

Also, quit wasting your time with the data editor if you just want cash, get the FM Modifier and waste your time figuring that out (its worth it)

This sucks, I tried it and couldn't get it to work. Never mind, the mighty Swindon will have to remain in the deepest darks of grass roots football - sigh.
