I have just bought fm 2007 and used the editor to create a few new players and give my favourite club a bit more money. I then saved the database as 'rob1' and loaded up the game. when i started up a new game it used the original database without offering me the chance to use my modified database. can anyone explain to me why this might be happening and help me to use my own database in a new game?

Could you ensure that the User Data Folder in the game and in the editor is pointing to the same folder. The easiest way to do this is by using the default location in both.

then its most likely your modified database is located in My Documents assuming you are using Windows, under a Sports Interactive folder. if thats the case, move the folder to the 'db' folder in to the db folder in your Sports Interactive under Program Files.

Did you guys eventually get it to work. I am having the same problems. I don't seem to have the option to choose what database to use.

im having the same kind of problems.
when i load the data editor it gives me the default location which i load it takes a minute then comes up with no information to edit.
