It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Brazilian Tactics

Hi All,
Has anyone got or tried to create a tactic that works aswell as brazil's tactics do. You know that fast free flowing football that all footy fans love and enjoy.

Or has anyone got an Arsenal style tactic that has that great football which again is fast and keeps the ball well which helps to create loads of changes

In thery, 4-5-1, full width, short passing fotball with fast pace is best, with counter attcks clicked. The midfielders should all be in a straight line and 3 of them should have Full creative freedom. However in the manual it staes that a direct approach would be better with counters and fast pace not short. It's a tough one.

Brazillian tactics didn't do well at the world cup...

But if you MUST try SCIAG's approach

I always thought the Brazilians played a 4-2-2-2 but then I haven't been watching them recently.

In terms of the game, I would imagine low tempo, short passing, with an attacking mentality is your basic building block. Using width, but attacking through the middle is perhaps another element Brazil have traditonaly played. Also midfield runners, and fast fullbacks who support attacks.

lats year they played 4-2-2-2 you are correct but that's too narrow really.
