It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Right, I now have the balls to go home after work and work those players hard.

Two hours to go...

Good thread Asmo- some great points there- Having spent about 4 hours reading and digesting wwfan's 07 post, then another 4 hours applying the theories to making 4 game tactics, have I got the strength to spend another 4 hours on training?--Probabaly

So heavy training doesn't affect injuries much, if any?
Guess I will have to remake all my training schedules.

Regarding goalkeeper training; It seems that attacking is not a very big part of goalkeeper training because it doesn't show up in the training overview. So in my opinion goalkeeping training should focus on Strength, Aerobic, Goalkeeping and Tactics.

No, it CAN effect injuries. It just happens with the schedules I am using atm I don't seem to having much problems.

I'd imagnie it carries a higher risk of a player getting injured (in tandem with injury proneness), but then I'm just guessing.

Good spot that- weird that ball control and set pieces show up though?

so cleon your'e saying its best to have a trial and error with your training schedules when you are doing them instead of jumping right in with very heavy training

Hi everyone,

first of all I'd like to express my agreement to Asmodeus' thread, and now that this is taken care off, here's the reason for my reply:

I've been able to get good CM and FM training regimes over the last seven versions of the game, but for FM2007 I feel it has really changed and you are completely able to actually get the best out of your crop of players, and the good part is that it isn't that hard.I've just finished a 7 hour FM streak to start my first new full version game, and of those 7 hours, I've spent 2,5 on training...
But because I know that most people aren't willing to put in 2 or 3 hours of work on the training and coaches part of a new started game, I would gladly like to ask these people to help me test my first "decent" schedules for 2007...
Here's the list with description and DL-Links:

Goalies - Goalkeepers, duh! - Download
Defence - Defenders, WB's, DMC's - Download
Midfield - DMC's to AMC's - Download
Attack - Wingers, Fwd's, (PM's) - Download
Physique - Young players with good technique and skills, not up for Adult Soccer yet... - Download
Control - Tough (older) players, in need of technique... - Download
Utility - Any player you want to become a game-reader... - Download

I hope you are able to get some good results off this one as well, and I am really looking forward to getting as much feedback as possible...

Cheers guys, R.
