looks like no one has a clue ..when you read sigames help and tips ,,,.. it clearly states to try and keep a settled tactics and not to keep changeing them ...get your players use to your style off play ....BUT now read TT&F IV theories ..is to play with a home and away tactic ..he must of spent hours if not days to come up with that theorie ..so whos right the makers off the game or a player with to much time on his hands if you keep changeing your tactic for home and away games then yes your lose the plot ...well your players will .so find a tactic and stick with it ...its the players that make a tactic work not the other way round ...if you have bad players then please dont try a tactic with sexy football and loads off passing ..lol because your know the out come ...come on you lot this game is really not that hard to play .so please stop looking for that wonder tactic and start useing a tactic to suit the players you have

SI says not to keep changing tactics is because the team has to gel together and get used to playing in that formation but I don't think it contradicts with using a different home/away tactic.
Home/away tactics are usually similar in formation and the change is thus not that big. What SI means is not to use a 3-5-2 for 1 week then switch to a 4-4-2 for 1 week then a 4-5-1 next and so on. It will cause instability but using a home/away tactic is different. It's just changing the approach towards the game and not a "whole new tactic" altogether.

well iv looked at most off them ...and your see that there are far too many changes in the home to the away ..even style off play which amounts to the same thing really ...plus diffirant runs made by the player in home games to away games .. plus iv tryed all off them and none work ....the game is easy when you think off one style off play you need and the plyers to fit that style .........its that easy. the only thing you need to change in away games is your tempo keep it like that and your tac will work

and if you really wanna win most games with your tac so the game cant read your tac ....then go to your tac file and right click on your tac ...and set the file to hidden ......there you go ...the A1 cant read your tac now ..

| \o/ stupidest comment i've heard in a long time
the 'hidden' option doesn't mean hiding the tactic from the AI it means hiding it in a search (e.g when you use the windows explorer search.
and mate what Ubos said is right, also please don't just come and slag off a guy who is probably the most respected bloke on the forums and who gives a lot of time to help other people with their tactics(wwfan)

I read the 'someone with too much time on his hands' as slagging off. sorry I may have intrepreted it wrong but it's not a nice thing to come on here and say someone who puts in a lot of work at FM Britain and here has too much time on his hands
