I have been a lurker here for a while reading a lot of fun and useful posts here in the Forum.
I have played FM/CM ever since the 1st version way back in time .

I might not play FM as often as many here on the Forum do but my friend and i always play Grimsby and me Bristol R and we have for many years through the different versions of FM /CM (since Grimsby and Bristol R have been in same division for quite many years). This has given me the experience of my friend’s way of playing the game and then myself.

In all the years and experience we have, we have never been able to get promoted in the same year. There are of course different reasons for this besides being not the best teams . We usually don’t bring in to many new players, as we are more interested to see what can we do with the squad there is. We usually play 1 or 2 seasons and then restart. Since FM07 we are in the 4 restart with the same team . I got promoted last time, my friend once and then we had 2 starts where we came in the middle with up and downs during the season.
The games when we meet eachother always become so strange and different to any other games, and yes very exciting

There are a few things i would like to tell with experience of playing with Bristol Rovers. But I will share that in another post, otherwise this one becomes to long….
