Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

What exactly is creative freedom? and what is it in relation to the match engine?

CF is a players freedom to do what he wants and not follow your instructions(If you have set it to high) Only give lots of cf to flair players who have high ratings in creativity, passing, flair, decisions, and technique and they will do their best to create goal scoring opportunities for your team.

P.S No more than 2 or 3 players should be given high creative freedom in your starting XI

I don't believe the statement about creative freedom means the player will ignore your instructions. The player is just given a wider area centered on their positon to operate in. This may mean for example that if you have set your wingers to cross from the byline, but they have a wider creative freedom they will not find themselves in a good crossing positon as often and will choose to do somrthing more appropiate.

Better players can have higher creative freedom because they will have greater attributes in more areas allowing them to be more effective over a wider area.

Playing with high creative freedom mean your players are more likely to be wrongly positioned leading to holes in your team weakening you defensively.

I think leroy1883 is right.. coz I have experienced that my self... I set Create freedom above normal.. Slightly closer to high and I end up conceding 2 par game.. where as I score 1 par game.. 9 matches played, conceded 18, scored 9.

thanks a lot leroy1883. But I think there are two create freedoms.. one for the player and for the team instruction.
