Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Arsenal at the Emirates = Impossible

I have tried too many tactics to name to beat Arsenal at the Emirates as Liverpool but it is impoosible!

No matter how many goals I score they get one more!

Anyone else found this?

It can be done.

But the amount of late goals Arsenal score on this game is ridiculous.

can be done

as cheesey says.. counter attack, and in the last 20 mins of the match or so i always overload i.e attack like crazy....

you'd be suprised how often a change of tactic in the last few minutes can result in a goal

Cannot tell anything about Liverpool, but with West Ham I have not lost a game to Arsenal for two and a half seasons, scoring at least 2 goals away (bet was 4-1 IIRC). As people said - counter, man mark their STs (no tight marking though), and motivate your team (or rather ask ass man to do it).

Yeah its very difficult! I have found if you attack them from the off then they always beat you. I have had some amazing games where its been 1-0 them then we score making it 1-1 and so on and so on until we beat them 5-4. Thats with my edited team!

Generally tho I soak up the pressure and counter them as someone stated but when I take the lead I just try and apply opposition instructions. Scoring from set pieces seems to do them in too!

As West Ham I've done them 6-2 and 5-1 at home but got beaten 3-1 and 5-2 at their place in the last couple of seasons,,, bizarre!

Track down Baptista like a dog. Mark Fabregas and stop henry from going up on the left. If you do that you should have a good chance of winning (beat arsenal 4-2 home and 3-1 away ^_^)
But yes, they have an insane squad in this game.. One of my earlier games they are on top in second season with 120 points
