does anyone else have this problem? in my west ham game i get team reports from my assistants and they always say the team isnt gelling yet. I expermented with chelsea sold loads of players and had new coaches everything but it didnt say they were gelling that they had gelled, do i have wrong type of players playing with each other or something, anyone help?
I found this with bolton and then i moved to porto and decided i'd buy loads of brazilians to play samba football. I had a mass clear out and brought in loads of new brazilian youngsters, i checked my ass man report and is said my players had aquired a good level of understanding. I'm guessing because they were from the same nation they played the same football had the same culture ect. that they bond quicker.
I've just started to manage Foggia in Serie C1/B. My assistant informs me that the team have a worrying lack of cohesion amongst the current player.
Well that's what the translator said, I can understand a word anyone says around here. Nor can they understand me. Better start my Italian classes sharpish.
I would agree with that, Blackburn start off as a determined group and when I signed more players with high determination, teamwork and work-rate, the team talk feedback was "Prepared to die for each other"
Think thats as high as it goes but someone may have had better!
Team ideally needs one kind of personality...like ambition. However that's hard to achieve. I have a "United Nations" playing and they "will die for each other". The one key thing they have in common is determination. Furthermore they have been playing together now for more than 2 years. The same key team. I usually make sure that no more than 13 are on the screen on matchdays..or leading up to match days. A few days before match day those not playing in the match are moved to the reserves for a week.
