Have you never heard of Rene Huguita?

On my game, I was browsing through some players and noticed he had scored 4 goals this season for his club, so although rare, yes it does happen.

I once played in a real game, goalie kicked the ball out of his hands, it kept going, opposition keeper came forward, slipped on his a$$ and the ball bounced past him and in :thup:

Anyone remember the mexican keeper, campos i think, he notched up a few goals during his career. Played as a striker sometimes!! And Jose Chilavert, paraguay keeper, had an awesome freekick on him

This can happen. Rarely - true - but it can happen.

I have seen late in cup games, keeper coming forward "a-la-Schmeichel", although I've been fortunate enough not to concede. You can also "instruct" your keeper to do the same if you like. It's actually a more ealistic function that's possible now, that was'nt in previous versions of FM/CM - unless you swapped an outfield player for your keeper.

Yes, you can set your keeper as a free-kick, corner, or penalty taker if you like. I do this for a laugh if I'm winning by a large margin.
