Rarely do I get past the second season mark. I've always wondered about how long you may stick with the same tactic as it's widely reported that after a season or two you get found out and have to change your tactics. I'm curious about this as it's one of the reasons I think that hinders me from going further than I do. I think I've got to change my tactics, can I really be bothered? So a few questions if you please. I'm still playing 2007 by the way.
Is this myth or truth?
I know and understand about reranking. This makes sense. But say you are a top team, and you remain a top team, do you still have to change your tactics?
If truth what season in do you have to make the change roughly?
If truth are subtle tweaks enough or do you have to completely alter your tactic?
My Barcelona side is now in it's 5th season with the exact same tactic just plugging in new players as older ones decline. 4 League titles, 3 spanish cups, 3 champions leagues with no end in sight. I haven't even needed to buy players, I'm just snatching players on free transfers. John Obi Mikel and Amand Traore both won signing of the season off free transfers replacing Deco and Eric Abidal respectively. The team you inherit at Barcelona is absurd though.
