Hi,
am currently the might y arsenal and need to get a left back. sold clichy for 17.5m which hill wood decided was too good to turn down.

was looking to get marcelo but he refuses to come. what did people do to get him?

also trying for insua at liverpool but the cost is getting higher and higher.

I have around 14mill to spend but dont want to spend the whole lot as i like to sell players a couple years later for a very nice profit.

any help would be appreciated

Try Mattia Cassani. In my game he's got a a 13M release clause. I dont know if its there from the start of the game though. He's a good LB.

Else try Guilherme. He plays for Pachuca I think. Again a good buy. And young so you can sell him for a massive profit in a couple of years.

Make sure you give Armand Traore a few games here and there. The kid is really good and turns out terrific in a few years. Develop him.

The same here: sold Clichy for £17.5m!
My replacements are Baines (for approximately £14m) and Traore.

I got Leighton Baines for £12.25m in my second season at Man Utd after selling Patrice Evra to Barcelona for a cool £25m

Traore was one of the best left backs on 07 so you could stick with him. you could try Marcell Jansen from Bayern who is pretty handy in that position
