Im having a terrible time with Tevez, he's started in around 10 games and has scored 1 goal. He is always being caught offside fouling defenders at stupid times and basically missing sitters which an Action Man could put in the back of the net!

He is unhappy as he doesn't supposidly doesn't get enough first team football. He would if he's perform to a decent standard. As a result he has been abscent from training and is tbh getting very close to making me mad!!!!!

Shall i sell him on or what do you suggest?

hes sick for me mate,always closing down,hitting long shots laying off players and coming deep.its just your tactics imo,treat a player like u would like to be treated,sounds gay like sorry just the way i play fm

Put him in the reserves and Make him available, See if he does well for about 2 months and if he does put him back into the first team, he should be hungry as ever!

just click player interaction , tell him his performances are under par ,

Might give that a try see if he reacts with a few goals and proves me wrong.

Tell him he is performing below par in player interation. Tevez is the kind of guy who will agree and get his head down and try harder. Before each game give him a personal team talk and say you have faith in his ability.

Try this for another 10 games or so. If he still isint scoring then try adjusting tactics or maybe just ditch him.

I suspect his morale may be low, or else it is your tactics. At the moment Tevez has baggged about 25 goals for me in all competitions, despite not playing every game. He got about 15 in the EPL alone which is very good for a support striker which is how I play him.

OMG he just missed another screamer and again is fouling far too much. When he does end up putting the ball in the back of the net it is usually ruled out due to a foul. Its not on

Very nice! That's the Tevez i want to see, what Tactics do you play? Could you possibly post a screenie of them?

Yo buddy, try play'n him as AMC, wayyyyyyy more efficient.

Make sure you give him plenty of creative freedom (15-18) and set his mentality somewhat lower then his striker partner (if it is too high he will always get caught off-side). I frequently put him on a free role too. Also try setting him as target man, play to feet.
I have had good succes using Tevez and Rooney both set like this, with Rooney's mentality a little bit higher.
Your team tactics will make a diffrence too. I've found short passing usually works best, although I have to change from slow to quick depending on the opposition.
