Sounds like hes having morale issues, I would do exactly what Enda89ie said. I haven't had a morale problem in 08 yet but in 07 morale was a very big factor.
Basically you need him to start scoring, try to play him alone up front for a game against a bottom table team or if you can a cup game where he can get a hat trick, will do wonders for him and put him back on.

Tevez is a legend in my Man Utd team with Rooney.
He does get alot of yellow cards and is offside far to much but he is banging almost 2 in a game at the moment for me!!
Put him as your targetman and ask your team supply the target man with Run Onto Ball.
Works a charm, Rooney has 3 goals in 19 games but when i play anyone else with Tevez he slumps and does not score, so i play Rooney as the Striker and Tevez as the targetman, its a dream team :p

Hes playing really well for me, only problem is that he keeeeps getting yellow cards and he gets alot of fouls to the point that i have to sub him so he doesnt get sent off. Its kinda irritating, anyone else get this?

| I play Tevez just behind Rooney with Tevez as TM and Rooney as ST - works a charm.

| Have you tried setting is tackling to easy ?
He still gets them but not as many and you should not be scared about him getting sent off either  | |

News flash... Tevez sucks. I don't think there's ever been to much hype over an attacker who scored 7 goals in a season...

He is my top scorer with about 25 goals in 30 games. And I'm playing him in AMC behind either Rooney or Owen. I have him as my playmaker as well so you could try that but it may not make a difference.

well iv just started my 2nd season in charge of united and tevez is being disliked by three other players; Darren Fletcher,Owen Hargreaves and Patrice Evra, hes seriously discupting my team spirit.Im considering selling him for around 30m to AC Milan who have shown an intrest in him.
btw if anyone got any ideas how to solve this problem, then please post back | |

not sure what my tactics are but i have rooney as the target man and he has 18 goals in 19 games and tevez has 16 out of 19 they are awesome together they keep out pazzini who is class
