Ok so I just had bids accepted by the chairmen at 26.7mil for both Owen and Martins, so now I need some replacement strikers

Anyway, I was wondering whether anybody knew any strikers at their level ability which can be bought for around 10million (15mil max), and which Newcastle will be able to attract. Currently third in premiership in first season, 23 games in.

My other striker options are Carroll, Ameobi, Aaritalo and Alan Kardec (In youth squad atm)

depends what system you play.u got 26 mil each for them?.carolls a good target man and everybody knows about aaritolo.id suggest saivet to buy.hel take a couple of years,maybe more to become the finished article.what system you playing?.

Sergio Aguero mate from At Madrid. He'll want a big contract but he is worth every penny. Put up about 10-12mil straight away and about 15mil over 24months. He is he best striker i have had in any version of FM

Well valenica didnt give martins a good enough contract so he's still in.

I've been trying to sign Saivet, but he's not interested in a move at all to Newcastle. Same goes for Bojan (Figures )

As for the transfer money, I have about 20 million left from the Owen transfer (after buying more players, and selling some others) but I've just had a 15mil offer for van der vaart accepted (10mil upfront and 5 mil over 12 months). So I'm not gonna have much for a new striker. I am selling duff for 2mil tho and planning on selling emre too for about 5 mil, so I could possibly afford aguero. I don't think aguero would want to come though, and his value is up to 18million now so yeah, bit pricy

Get Danilinho from Atletico Mineiro for about 3 mil. 20 goals in all competitions by march for Newcastle in my game. If not, try Marco Ruben for about 5 mil from river. His stats aren't great but hes a good goal scorer all the same.

Palacio frm Boca.... he's too cool for school. Lightning quick and got me 33 goals in Serie A.... brilliant. He'll cost 12million though.

Or, cheaper option, Billy Sharp, he is more of an investment, but i got him for 6million at Man City and, up to now, he's got 11 goals in 18 league games, not too shabby and he'll get better.

Unfortunately Palacio doesnt want to join Newcastle so he's not a possibility.

I'm thinking I might just not bother replacing Owens with an AWESOME striker. I have martins still so I think I might just keep Ameobi, Aaritalo and Carroll in rotation in the other slot.

Danilinho is worth it... did fantastic for my toon squad...

Also, short term, but a good buy, Martin Palermo from Boca... Works really well with Martins...
