I had a guy sent off (straight red) in a recent game for a challenge when he was the last man. The commentary was 'It didn't look like a foul' and he wasn't the last man.

I very rarely appeal bans, but I thought I'd try with this one, as it looked like we had a cast iron case to me. The FA turned down my appeal.

Has anyone here had any luck with getting these sort (or any sort) of bans overturned, or do the game's FAs always stand firmly behind their refs?

In FM2060 I'vwe never had a ban overturned, but then again nor have I had it extended, or been fined for over-appealing.

In previous incarnations of the game, I have (very rarely, once I think) had a ban overturned. I've also been fined by the FA twice for excessive appealing and complaining about referees

Same here - in FM2005 I appealed successfully a few times, but as of yet, never in '06.

I've had one ban overturned. A few also extened

In 2005, I seemed to average an overturn a season, mainly the 'last man' ones

Yes but the Job Center is still crap.
Sadly I am unlikely to be alive to see FM2060 (I'll be 94 :eek: :eek but any guesses what FM2020 will have in it?

I just had a red card rescinded. I don't usually bother appealing, though, as it seems more often the ban gets extended.
