NEWSFLASH: Early days in our first season in the First Division Elite we're travelling quite nicely in fourth after 8 matches, still alive in the cup. So I thought I'd check the team report to see if the Assman had any suggestions to improve the side. This is what he told me: "we have absolutely no chance of avoiding relegation unless the squad is strengthened in every department." Well one part of the organisation will be strengthened at the end of this season... Idiot.

2010 Sleipner - First Division ELite
After consecutive promotions the board/fans/media/old man and his dog expect us to fight bravely against relegation.
As noted the assman believes we need to strengthen every position to have any hope of avoiding relegation. Well to cut a long story short --- he's no longer with us

<LI>We're 3rd (playoff place) vs 4th (mediocrity), ahead by 1 point in the last match of the season, a draw will send us into playoff territory. 1 early goal to us, they reply quickly.....80 mins elapsed and no further scores, it's a good match so far, plenty of chances, no goals.... 86 minutes they're in! All out attack, heaps of chances ------ no goals FOCK FOCK FOCK FOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>A big, tempting challenge was on offer. £875k pm (a big pay rise) to go to Benkovski (Kosinbrod) in the Bulgarian Western "B" Group with no players, 1 coach, 1 physio (both terrible), I don't speak Bulgarian, no transfer funds, £9k pm wages, with the promise of a long term contract if successful in avoiding relegation. Season about to start. Rejected after long consideration. They respected my decision and hope I will manage them in the future.

2011 Sleipner - First Division Elite
So with an unstoppable GAIS out of the way, we are setting ourselves for a top 3 finish. The player purchasing continued, and I've lost count of the ins. Probably around 10. We are 25-1 for the title, which is surprising. BTW, I sacked the 'media' manager so my updates should have a welcoming brevity from now on

Started the season with 2 losses and a win (a 7-1 drubbing of promotion favourites, Landskrona) and went on to be second at the halfway mark to Oster. That's the same Oster that spilled £2.2M on two of my players last year and now want to give me £3.5M for two more. Told them to **** off!

2 games to go we're equal 1st but with poor form and morale and could still slip to fourth(

In the 2nd last game against 5th we are scored against in the opening minutes so I clicked tactics with the intention of 'getting more options in the attacking third' but had a sudden change of heart and pressed cancel instead. Well, aren't I the chosen one ... my star striker went on to bag a double hattrick :eek: as we smash them 7-2!!!!!!! PROMOTED!!! Wagherty1!!

The last game was now relegated to a 'dead' rubber promotion wise, but a win would tie up first while a loss could result in second placed finish. We win easily to clinch the title

Board and fans go beserk for me/us. Still no statue though

IFK Goterberg retain the Premier Title. Helsingborg won the cup.

Negotiated a massive £90kpm wage and £825k transfer budgets.

Star Striker was fans POTY, with 32 goals took out the 1st div elite goalscoring gong and is one of Sleipner's favoured personnel.
I am awarded manager of the year and am Sleipner's other favoured personnel

7 Sleipner players make the 1st div elite team of the year, including 5 in the first 11.
