If putting a LLM skin up for dowload gets a thumbs up from the powers that be then i think its a fine idea.
From what i understand graphical changes are perfectly fine as long as it does not change the game in any way. I mean how could adding kits, logos etc. possibly go against the LLM rules?

A number of computer literate LLaMas have tried this every time a new version of the game (once skins appeared) came out, they all failed.

They don't. Too lazy to bother with links and all that but, as wewak says, this has been discussed before and skins, player pics, logos 'n' sh*t are ok as long as the database is not touched in any way (and they don't use edt files or whatever they're called).

I sound very sure and will, of course, look a complete tit if a mod/fogey corrects me now, but I am pretty, no, 100% certain that this is the case.

Not sure Adam tried a skin, but maybe. I think a bacon poof (donald) tried at one point and Jordi worked away for a short time only to fail miserably. Those were some pleasant IM conversations.
