Default World Cup 2006

Just curious on everyone's predictions on how it will shake out this year. I'm a member of "Sam's Army, but I'll have to keep myself happy by playng hookey on the days they play. With 6 kids, I can't afford a trip to Germany.

I did the BBC predictor and came up with Germany beating Brazil in the Final. What does everyone else think?

I attended one of the last warm-up games for the USA as they played Venezuela here in CLeveland, Ohio. With a mostly backups playing, they dominated the match. 2-0. I really look forward to WC.

As long as England get to the semi-final and get beaten on penalties by Germany then I don't care who wins it, to be frank

I remember seeing the US-Venezuela game reported in the Plain Dealer, as I too live in the Cleveland area. Brunswick, to be exact. Huh, who knew?

Oh, and with Brazil not doing well in Europe, and home teams always having some mysterious advantage, I'm liking Germany as champs.

You may laugh, but my crystal ball says Brazil.

Although I do think that Sweden will have a good tournament.

That is all from Mystic Wizzle.

I read that, and was about to say "why don't you just watch it on tv instead of playing hockey?". Fortunately I re-read it before posting
