heh, must be from my side of the drink.

I really don't see a problem with going a number of matches with clean sheets, and then allowing some in a win. Be happy with the freaking win for crying out loud!

Seriously - what IS the D?

I've switched my mind to "puerile" and I still can't get my head around this particular idiom.

Oh its not that I mind letting a few goals in, but it seems with my D its all or nothing. THey either shut out the oposition or they let almost everything in. A little moderation is good..lol

'tis true, but I can't understand why no one talks about the "O" at the same time. It's selective laziness.

Church: regarding "my bad" let me just say I hate it too, but there is no real explanation other than Wizzle's one qouted above. It's lazy "street" talk where critical parts of the sentence have been left out for brevity's sake (I guess

Ok Im back with updates on season four and five

So I enter season four with expectations of a safe mid-table finish put I personally am looking for promotion, ya soo didnt happen. Had by far the worse season of my life. Finished 19th two points clear of relegation due to the fact that my strikers sucked this year. I was lucky if they scored two goals in a game, if they did, I was happy. Defense wasnt bad, but with no offensive support, they werent that good to throw shutouts. Went out in the FA cup in the 3rd qualfying round to Halifax 3-0, lost in the second round of the FA Trophy to Exeter 2-0, and lost a lot of games 1-0 or 2-0 (note the many 0's there). Needless to say the board was not happy, neither were the fans, and niether was I. I was surprised I didnt get sacked.

Season five rolls around, basically the same squad and its a whole different team. The board is calling for not getting relegated, and after last season who can blame em. We score at friggin will. Im like wtf...you couldnt do this last season??????? We go out in the first round of the FA Cup to Bury 3-2, and win the FA Trophy for the second time against Burton 4-2. Defence goes in spurts of doing well and then decided to not show it, thank god I have my beer. We head into the last week only 3 points out of first behind Halifax, with one game to play against Halifax. We beat em and win our remaining game to clinch promotion by a single point over Halifax who also gets promoted via playoffs.

What a ride the past two seasons, board wants me to battle bravely against relegation and Ill be making some moves to ensure league two survial, like getting a better D and a better GK. I know see why LLM can drive some to the edge, season four was that season for me...so onward I go...
