Do people take a team and turn them into championship contenders within a season?

I keep reading little reports which just baffle me... when i get a team destined for relegation my team usually just about steers clear of relegation..

For those dominating the LLM management scene i would like to ask what is your key to success... no specifics please, i think my key to "success" is riding the luck hehe.

Are you all tactical masterminds? Or is there something else behind it?

Well I use the K.I.S.S train of tactical thought. But as for success i think you need to read some of the updates on this forum cause there isn't really any one season wonders.

That takes some doing, turning a Conference North/South club into Championship contenders in a season :eek:

:eek: I just re-read what he posted there and i would have thought he would have realised that taking a Conference North/South team to win the Championship in one season is dead easy it's just the building a team to get them out of the Conference N/S then League 2 then League 1 then of course winning the Championship thats the harder part :gil:

What I did was I became manager of Genoa (Italian Serie C). IRL they had actually one 2005 Serie B but were relegated to C for match fixing....so in Serie C they were the favorites. It turned out to be a little harder but I won the league on the last day of the season thanks to a 80 minute screamer to earn a draw
