Default The void.

I started a career in Brazil and promptly got myself relegated from the State league . Crack open the champagne because I didn't get relegated from Division 3 so I still have a job.

In next season fixture list there is no state league. But in 6 months time I do have Division 3 fixtures.

Has anyone dome somthing similar? I just want to know if I will get back into the state league soon as I couldn't be arsed going on holidays fo 6 months of every year.

You may or may not, Hogie. It's down to the whim of the game, I suppose. SI may treat human controlled teams more favourably, I don't know.

I did it the other way, getting relegated from the National but my great record in the Rio State saved me from the chop.

Eventually, I did get promoted back to the National - about three season if memory serves.

Hogie - relegation from the State leagues is ok, I've done that and been back after a one year absence and also a two year absence. I think it's possible that it could be something to do with your reputation as the team I did that with was Bangu, one of the better known 3rd division sides. As they play in the Rio State championships, it's difficult not to get relegated.

Wizzle - I'm surprised you didn't get sacked after being relegated from the 3rd division, of the four occasions I have played in Brazil 3rd division, I have been relegated twice and been sacked on both occasions, despite staying alive in the State champs (once with Tocantinopolis and once with Bangu). Maybe you have a nice chairman.

GrassyArse, it is my first crack at Brazil and I hadn’t got a clue what is happened. It is definitely weird to had two leagues in the same season… One I got relegated from the other I got into the playoffs of WTF?

Before the season my board just wanted me to build the team which is my excuse for being relegated. My second excuse is that we didn’t have a decent goalie until a month into the season. With no transfer budget and the scout not finding any free Keepers. I was left with no choice, I had to sign the worst grey I have ever seen in my entire life. My new keeper had just two attributes in double digits and naturally neither of those had anything to do with goalkeeping. Since then the scout found 2 decent freebie GK so they joined the crew.

Okay best stop now cause this is starting to sound like an update.

Heh, I remember having a go in Brazil in a past version that sported a bug whereby the Leagues wouldn't run after the first season, leaving you with only the State Championships.

11 month holiday, anyone?
