A weird thing happened in my game today. I'm currently in season 4 of my save and in my second job at York City.

I had an LDV Trophy game away to Rochdale, which went to extra time at 2-2 and then on to penalties. My keeper was as outstanding as my spot kickers were poor and after the first 5 kicks each the shootout score was 2-2. Onto the 6th shot, which my keeper saves and then my left back scores to put us through.

I click continue and then the news messages come up informing all of how unlucky York were to lose 4-2 on penalties!! Somewhat confused, I check out the results section -- and sure enough, the score is given as 2-2 with the opposition winning 4-2 on penalties.

I guess it must be a bug, unless SI have been taking backhanders to try to make Rochdale look good. At least it's only in a cup game.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

Correct, was a bug in version 6.0.0, fixed in patch 6.0.1, see

OK. Thanks for this. No I hadn't updated, but will do so soon. I'd hate for this to happen again in a more important match.

I was thinking more on the lines of a play-off final going to penalties. Now that would really not be funny.
