Do catch up! I'm a forum ****, yes, although not to GPf*gG. Actually there is a thread on this topic elsewhere and elsewhere it will remain. I was just alerting Llamas to the existence of this team - it isn't and won't be an update or anything.

Just checking - what with your nazi comment in the other thread I wasn't sure if you were someone who was contemplating becoming a full-time LLaMa or just another WUM.

And what with your 'flame away' comment at the start of this thread (something which didn't happen if you've noticed), can you blame us for being a little wary?

There's history which the regulars are aware of (and part of). Don't let it worry you

I have to disagree.

Though I'm sure La Luz are mighty contenders, I'm sure there's no mightier challenge than 'Cultural Durango' in FM2006.

And not only because of their midget reputation to take care of, there's also the always joyful LLM's obsession with basques and stockings.

What does it matter where's everyone been posting ffs?

Let people post, they'll show their intentions soon enough.

Patronise much?

I take it you mean this history:

Can't be arsed to fall to that level myself.

You were more than welcomed in LLM. Yet you used our trust and our belief that you are a LLMer. I don't care whether it was GPG or TT, since it is all the same to us LLMers. It was not us that forced you to go there. You chose it yourself. Now, don't be mad at us, when you get hit upon sarcasm on your way back here. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Perhaps I'm not as 'regular' as you, but do forgive my 'newbie' naivety when I have to ask why others are told they can't post in T&TT and here, but you think you're exempt?

Kostis, like the player-naming floodgate scenario, the standards of the forum have to be consistent.

If it doesn't matter where else people have posted then that should apply to everyone. That certainly hasn't been the case since I've been coming to this forum, and if you remember, I was told in no uncertain terms when I first came here that if I wanted to post here then I would have to (no choice/leeway) stop posting in T&TT.

I've honoured that stipulation and I don't see why others should be exempt because they happen to play clan-games with some of the regulars.

You got me wrong; My beef isn't with flaming guys who continue to post in T&TT or GPG while having indicated a willingness to convert to the LLM way of playing the game. It's to do with quite a few regulars who don't even give the chance to newbies to convert to LLM by flaming on their posting history, their past instead of their present if you will.

Andy has always been a special case and can't be used as an example, but I appreciate you're not familiar with his history.

Saxonator hasn't posted anything remotely close to player naming/tipping though, he hasn't indicated a willingness to join LLM either, so I don't see the reasoning behind using his posting history as an accusation or even a warning against him. If he's a WUM, it will soon show - that's what I mean by asking to give new people a chance.

I've got nothing against Andy personally - he seems likeable enough (even with the snarky comments), but I'm sure you can see why those of us not in the 'in-crowd' (which, of course, doesn't exist) may be a little concerned over double-standards.

The purpose of my 'warning' was that the thread was looking dangerously close to bursting into an update. I really don't think Andy or Sax would consider it a flame (I hope!). Then there is the constantly iterated point that anyone posting in T&TT is not welcome to post here. Again, I'm sure you understand why I take particular interest in this. I'm a fully fledged LLaMa now, and that makes me all the more concerned about T&TTers flouting the rules. This may make me seem a little zealous at times (I thought that was a good thing in LLaMaland), but I don't think I'm a flaming zealout...

I'm all for giving new people a chance - nothing I said indicated otherwise - it's not like I told them to feck off or anything.

Andy - nothing personal dude, you just happen to have highlighted an issue which causes concern.

Perhaps if someone enlightened those of us not au fait with the history as to why Andy is a special case, then maybe we won't make fools of ourselves by questioning his 'right' to be here, because as you saw from the quotes I used from Andy's recent foray in to the forum, it seems that other regulars aren't familiar either.

I did do a search (I'm anally retentive and have too much time on my hands, so?), but Andy's posting history is loooong, and all I found were slamming of doors, lots of asterisked swearing, restless LLaMas and so on...
