Iwas just wondering how longa new LLM game usually takes since im new. I used to play a game for a few seasons then get bored.Allso , what is the funnest llm league to play in?

Please read forum header before posting next time.

LLM game are long term games. This means, they are played for mroe than 2 seasons.

The funnest league? Every league is fun in its sort of way. So, ask Frank and may he be with you.

Read some of the update threads here. You'll see that the majority of LLM saves are long term careers. After all, an LLM game only starts to get interesting after 10 or so seasons.

As for the "funnest" league: we don't do fun.

I've just played 3 saves in FM06.

Save 1: stopped because of the non-EU mess thingie in Spain (got until 2011 IIRC).

Save 2: Got as far as 2017 before processing became unbearable IIRC.

Save 3: Currently in 2021 and processing times are still on the acceptably fast range.

As to funniest LLM league... Meh... I guess any league in which I don't know the format.

If you read through some of the update threads you'll see that a LLM game can go on for 20, 30 or more years...

LLM is all about long term challenge.

I'm assuming you've read the headers and stickies... read the history thread too - that'll familiarise you with some of the 'codespeak' you'll see here.

Start a game, and after 3 seasons come and tell us how you're doing.
