Evo, I was literally jsut selling a computer that would hve been what you need. However I sold it today to a guy at work, but would have preferred to sell it to a LLaMa. Oh well. though you can get a compaq laptap that would work just fine for pretty decent prices.

While I am talking about this, if no one minds (if you do let me know and I'll post it in GQ) how do I go about transferring FM2006 to my new computer. I bought it downloaded and I don't mind losing my save if I have to but would like to keep it. Thanks :cool:

Well, you wont have to worry about losing your save, as that's inm a different folder.

Thats what I was thinking. I was just going to copy the whole SI folder to a disc and then import it on my laptop. Sounds like it should work.

Thanks, I will just have to try it. I am not to worried as 2007 will be out before we know it anyways, but I am finally getting somewhere with this save and would like to keep going on and on and on.........

It probably will work, but without having all the registry entries there may be a problem down the line.

I'd advise reinstalling on your laptop and then copying your My Documents/SI folder over to it to be safe.

Late answer, but..

Copying programs doesn't work well at all in Windows. (Re)installing is the only safe way to go.
