It seems to me that unless a truly terrible team get relegated from Lique 2 (or you get promoted in the first season), you're stuck in the National forevermore. Or that's how it seems in the online game, anyway...

Actually, there's only been one season where all three clubs who were relegated went straight back up.

Bayonne won the championship in the first season, then were relegated for three consecutive seasons. So there really are some truly horrible teams who come back down.

gil, Croix de Savoie were relegated in 05-06 to the CFA-B, and this past season finished bottom of CFA-B and were again relegated.

Terrible teams, for example, that lose 9-0 at home?
Chances are I'll be a lonely Ligue Deux poof next season.

Speaking of that, I just lost almost as badly, but I'm on the road.

Looks as though there will be at least one relegated side not move right back up, as they're sitting in the relegation zone at the midway point. So there's another of the truly horrible teams who come down. They must have been ravaged by moves away in the close season.

I've got to ask why the National is considered the lowest playable league in France? Can't you select something called the CFA?

Have you tried?

The CFA is on the game, but not playable. You'll have to ask SI why.
