To be sure, just sign players that your scout reccomends to you, not the other way round.

I can think of a couple of times when you might want to reccomend players to be scouted but generall it's a no-no.

Managers speak to other managers all the time. Looking for players that are tranfer listed, without looking at their "numbers" is valid. If I call up Tony Pulis and ask who he had on the list, he would tell me. If that player was on a position I needed, I could send my scout to check him out.

Actually, I check out hsi opinion of me first. Neutral=I'll call him. Likes me=i'll call him.Thinks I'm a sack of crap, I won't. If one tips me about someone I end up buying, and he pans out, I'll make him like me.

Ignats, what you're saying does make sense, even from a realism point of view, to an extent.

However, I think it comes back down to that conscience thing again. Does doing it make the game easier? Definitely. Do you need to do it just to get enough squad players? No. Are you LLM because you want a challenge, or do you want to expand your options to make it less so? You have to answer that.

I wouldn't particularly censure you for doing it, but it's not something I would do.

Not that you care, but I view this as a realistic fantasy that I am a Manager. Therefore, I would do what a Manager would. I don't do it to make things "easier". But neither am I a self flaggellating masochist. If I were looking for an "easier" road to hoe, I'd look at the 'NUMBERS". I intentionally don't use that view. I use the transfer view to find the players names and postitions----what a fellow manager would do. I am constantly toying with the parameters that I do that. SHould I wait until I have a postive relationship with another manager? I'm weighing that now. But I've been playing LLM for over 4 years, and I'm still finding my absolute rules to live by.
