Whats wrong with edited exploits? How else am I supposed to get a non league team into the conference? I wanted to start from a real crappy low team, and the only way to do that was bringing a team through the editor which I think is quite legal!!

Nobster taking credit again

If you look at croguy's other thread you will notice very early on a gentle nudge from a fellow poster in the way of the LLaMa.

It appears as though croguy missed it as well judging by his most recent post. *shrugs*

Of course, it's legal. SI wouldn't put something in their game which could get you arrested, would they?

It's just not how we do things here.

For teams below the Conference N/S - you can't, directly. You'd have to wait until one of the teams was promoted and then apply for a job there (there's a challenge in GQ, however, which does exactly what you want using the 'start unemployed and holiday for a year' method). Your method, whilst 'legal', does not fit our criteria of 'realistic as the game will allow', so is not acceptable in a LLM game.

In summary:
*Play the game in the same spirit we do - talk about your game with us (within limits - again, see forum rules)
*Use the spawn/use tips from other fora - we don't care about your game.

We're not being unfriendly, but this forum is specifically for a certain way of playing the game, so I hope you can see where we're coming from.

In the header, which you managed to ignore:

The following will not be tolerated:

* Player Naming or Tipping - Including all FM, CM from 01/02 onwards, and Real Life Players. (Staff and Ex-Player names may be deleted at the Mods' discretion)
* Tactics naming
* Use of Editors and 3rd Party Updates
* Bragging

I really can understand newbies coming in and making passionate claims about the player search screen and transfer lists etc but I don’t think I have ever seen newbie fight for the right to use the editor before :kris102:

Hogie: He has the right to use editors. He has the right to use Thir-Party updates.

We just don't give a **** about his gaming, though.
