It isn't just in poofland, I get it in Norway as well.

After promotion my attendances dropped. I have a big stadium and it's crippling the club having it empty.

Totally unrealistic.

Same happens in Romania, i think its to do with good runs, the better you're doing the higher attendance (but thats exactly the opposite of what ryu is saying). But then when i got promoted the atendence did fall, untill i did well again

I am experiencing the opposite.

Although you may expect a higher attendance when you finally achieve promotion the the conference national; going from avg 400 to an avg of over 2,600 is a huge increase.

Let's see what the next season will bring me ......

We ended the season in contention for play offs, with attendences of around 1300-1400.
Now at the start of the new season, we attract as much as 280 people (maybe their dogs as well) in the conference national.
Admitted, we're having a ***** start of the season and are in 17th place, while the bookies had us right behind the top teams.

Okay, here's what I'm facing on ,my current game, with Eastleigh. The ground capacity is 2300.

2005/2006 (ECS): Averaged around 1000 people. As the team was constantly fighting for promotion, that's wuite realistic.

2006/2007 (CON): Averaged around 300 people. My team was fighting against relegation until the last day, which might be a reason for the low attendace. However, it does seem too low.

2007/2008 (CON): Early in the season, but I'm doing well. Some 10 games have been played. In the last 2 home games, we nearly sold out. Before those, we averaged the same 300-odd as last season.

I really can't draw any conclusion other than that the game is a little screwed in this aspect.

I had an average attendance of 982 in my first season at Histon. I thought that was alright but they should go.. my team plays sexy football

You wait - a couple of seasons with TP in charge at Stoke and you'll be seeing those kind of attendances at the Britannia Stadium.

The club are thinking of switching it to Newcastle Town's Lyme Valley Stadium so only half the stadium is empty.
