I'm not asking for tips. I was just wondering if others were experiencing this or if I was unknowingly trying to rule my club with an iron boot

Oooooo Dale, go buy me another Woo Woo from the bar. :bigalp:

You still up for that meet in September, Michal? I know some bars that are just TO DIE FOR.

(NB. Whoever it is that is getting married that weekend has not planned well. There's a free music "Party in the Park" that Sunday. Not that a few thousand kids wanting to go see some no-name pop acts will affect much at all, come to think of it.)

Come down hard every time. If they get upset leave 'em to rot in the reserves.
You accuse us of being poofy and then tel us you "come down hard" with your players :bigalp:

I don't, btw. I'm just as poofy in-game as IRL. Warnings all round then fines only for persistent offenders, and back home in time for tea. \o/

Fine any player that gets sent off, fine any player that scores an own goal, fine any player that causes you to get knocked out of a cup (even if they are for Dales) and if they do it again sack 'em

You won't hear them whinge then!!

My favourite though is sacking any youth tema player that gets a long term injury.

I'm not wasting my pennies on him with Band Aids, send him home to Mummy!!

How did you get away with all that??? ….. here is my story of woe…. cut and paste from the update…..

“So I get in a very tasty DR in the January sales, and on his debut he gets sent off. I give him a warning. And follow it up by saying to the press that I was disappointed with his debut. He appears to accept it because I have a look at his personal screen and it says something along the lines that he is determined to prove he’ll be a good signing.

Press continue and …. On the 6th January 2024 The Basingstoke board sacked me because the managers relationship with his staff has caused the club to under perform.

At the time of the sacking I was running 5th in the league but if we won our games in hand I would have been 2nd. All I can say is you F@ckin b@stards. I give you 19 years of my life and you sack me completely without warning!!”

I'm still ****ed off about that

You should have thought about that before you invited the chairman's new girlfriend into the 'trophy room'.
