i am playing with bath city, and i have finally taken them up to the championship with a balance of nearly 15m in the bank, however we do not own our stadium and are stuck at a 8k capacity and i cannot afford to pay the wages for this level unless we can expand, or move.

my question is this:

is there something that will trigger my owner to either buy the stadium and expand, or move to a new ground?

Nope, sometimes you just have to accept you're managing a small club & that's the way it's going to say.

but should it stay that way when they are actually not a small club anymore? i have players getting caps for decent nations, i play other clubs like man city, portsmouth, leeds, watford, wolves, etc, and can beat them, and have the money to build a new stadium, small as it might be, it would be our own.

I guess it would depend on the chairman & those pesky hidden attributes, also there is the possability that the local council just won't allow such a move & SI have coded this into the game.
