Does the demo allow you to play the game exactly the way it's intended, for an unlimited number of seasons? No? Well, then, it's never going to allow someone to determine if the game has turned out properly, because many aspects of the game are never seen until several seasons into a saved file and sometimes not until a decade or more with regens.

No. Just minor enhancement from FM07. Not worth it.

Agreed, I think of the demo as a try out for newcomers to FM, just to give them an idea of what it is.
It has little value to the seasoned FM veteran imo.
It's certainly not a viable test tool for anything above the superficial look of it.

even if it were nothing but a data update, with NO new features (which plainly isn't true):

£18 a year...
£1.50 per month
4p per day!!

for a game which gives more play and longevity than 90% of those released, and has no particular "end point" after which the game is just repetition?

sounds like the definition of good value to me
YES

Daft question.

Even in its current state Ive got over 20 hours entertainment for £24.99.

In comparison I took the wife to the cinema on Sunday and spent £17 to get in, plus £6 on a drink and popcorn and got 2 hours entertainment.

Bearing in mind the game will be far better when patched I will get many more hours of enjoyment.

People writing the game off before the patch is released are just cutting off their noses to spite their face....

Answer : YES

Eventually, yes. I have faith that SI will deliver eventually.

Reading the forums has me so worried that I'm not going to start playing FM08 until the first patch is officially released.

Meanwhile there's still FM07 where I've brought Dag & Red from Conference National to League 1 in 3 seasons.

I don't know how many of you have written a software program before, but fixing bugs is a colossal task so do be patient.

Well at this moment in time NO!! I would of been better putting £25 in at Dominos Pizza far more enjoyable and at least that would of lasted more than 10 mins
